Archived Election Details

The City of Wapello will hold a special election to fill the vacant mayor position. There will be two special school district elections. One will be the Wapello Community School District and the Lone Tree School District will have a public measure on a revenue purpose statement.

The filing deadline for candidates for the City of Wapello Mayor race is on February 10th.  An affidavit of candidacy and nomination petition will need to be turned into the Louisa County Auditor's office on the 10th.  You can get the forms from this website or come to the Auditor's office and get a form.   If you have any questions please call the Auditor's office at 319-523-3371.
